In addition to being parents of children with disabilities, parents may be experiencing prejudice and discrimination due race, class, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, immigration and citizenship status, their mental and physical health, or their own disability status.
Listen below as two parents share their personal experiences being both a parent of a child with a disability as well a person who experiences racial and cultural bias, and how those identities have intersected for them in the context of their child's education.
